Tampa Electric Window Film Rebates Now Available.

Tampa Electric (TECO) customers now have another great incentive to install a high performance window film in their home or business. This program offers rebates for installing a qualified high performance window film that can add comfort to a home or office and decrease energy costs.

Take advantage of TECO's window film rebate and get $2 per square foot!

Residential TECO window film rebates do not require pre-inspection, but must meet minimum
requirements to qualify for incentives:

• All east and west facing windows within air-conditioned areas must have film installed
• Window film must have a shading coefficient of .40 or less to qualify
• Qualified windows will receive $2 a square foot, no limit
• Decorative glass, or windows that have complete shading do not qualify for the rebate

The existing structure must have electric whole-house air conditioning. After window film is installed, you are required to complete, sign and date our Window Film form. A hard copy of the form, including proof of purchase (paid receipt) and supporting documentation (specification sheet) showing the shading coefficient of the film installed must be submitted to Tampa Electric in order for you to qualify for the rebate.

Note: to qualify for the $2 per square foot rebate, film must be installed on all east- and west-facing windows !

• A Progress Energy Home Energy Check within the past 24 months is a prerequisite to qualifying for the rebate

• Window film must be installed on all windows facing east, west and south
